About US

St. Paul's by the Sea Episcopal Church puts the worship of God, revealed through Jesus Christ, at the center of our communal life. Our parish is open to worshippers of all ages and backgrounds, all races, genders, and sexual orientations. We lead one another in worship, in deepening our connection to God, in understanding the teachings of Christ, and in forming a vibrant faith through the work of the Holy Spirit.

Our purpose is to become a center in our surrounding community as a place for education and expression of the Gospel, as well as for spiritual growth through a deeper understanding of our own identity as Episcopalians. We aim to care for one another and welcome those outside our walls.

SPBTS has a long history of serving the people of Jacksonville Beach, and we’re always open to new people with their own perspectives on how we can best do so. Through the dedication of our leadership, staff members and volunteers, we are committed to the teachings of Jesus Christ, and are here to spread His message. Contact us today to find out more about becoming part of the SPBTS community.
